User Guide

Everything you need to know to get the most out of 1Poker.

Getting Started

When you first open 1Poker, a short onboarding walkthrough introduces the core features. You can optionally load sample data to explore the app before entering your own sessions.

The app is organized into five tabs:

Bankroll Dashboard

The bankroll dashboard is your home screen. It shows a real-time snapshot of your poker finances.

What you'll see

Deposits & Withdrawals

Tap Deposit or Withdraw to record bankroll changes that aren't tied to a session. Each entry can include an optional note. Session results are recorded automatically when you end a session.

Recent Sessions

A list of your most recent sessions appears below the dashboard, showing the date, game type, stakes, and result for each.

Session Tracking

1Poker supports three session types: Cash Game, Tournament, and Sit & Go.

Starting a Session

Tap the + button on the Sessions or Bankroll tab. Fill in:

Tournament Fields

When you select Tournament or Sit & Go, additional fields appear:

The app automatically calculates your ROI and whether you finished in the money.

Session List

The Sessions tab shows all your sessions with filtering and search:

On iPad, sessions display in a split view with the session list on the left and details on the right.

Location Auto-Detection

1Poker can use your current location to automatically suggest a venue when starting a session. The first time you play somewhere, type the venue name. On future visits, the app recognizes you're at the same location and fills it in for you.

Live Session

Once a session is started, you enter the active session view with real-time tracking.

Actions During a Session

Seat Configuration

Before recording hands, you can set up your table:

  1. Select your seat (1–10)
  2. Mark the button position
  3. Assign names to other seats (tap a seat to add a player name, or mark it as an unknown player)

This configuration carries into hand recording, so player names and positions are pre-filled automatically.

Ending a Session

Tap End Session and enter your final cash-out amount. For tournaments, you'll also enter your finish position and field size. The session result is automatically recorded in your bankroll.

Hand Recording

1Poker captures complete hand histories with a step-by-step recording flow.

Step 1: Setup

If you've set up seat configuration for the session, your position and the other players' names are pre-filled.

Step 2: Villain Info

For each occupied seat, you can enter:

Step 3: Hole Cards

Select your hole cards using the visual card picker:

Step 4: Action Sequence

Record the action on each street (preflop, flop, turn, river):

Between streets, enter the board cards (flop, turn, river) using the card picker.

Step 5: Result

Enter the final pot size and your net result (positive for wins, negative for losses). Optionally mark whether the hand went to showdown and record any villain hole cards revealed.

Hand List

The Hands tab shows all recorded hands with filtering:

Each hand in the list shows your position, hole cards, result, and the street the hand reached.

Hand Replay

Tap any recorded hand to view its details, then use the replay feature to step through the action.

Using Players in Hands

When entering a hand, type a player name and 1Poker will suggest matches from your saved database. If you set up seat configuration for a session, player names are automatically carried into each hand you record.

Search & Sort

Find players by name or tag. Sort the list by name, number of hands played, or when you last saw them.

Sharing Hands

Share any recorded hand with other 1Poker users via a link.

How It Works

  1. Open a hand and tap the share button
  2. A shareable link is generated that encodes the complete hand data into the URL itself
  3. Send the link via Messages, email, social media, or any other app
  4. The recipient taps the link to open the hand in their copy of 1Poker

What's Shared

The link contains all hand details: hole cards, board cards, action sequences, positions, pot size, and result. No data is uploaded to any server — everything is encoded directly in the URL.

Viewing Shared Hands

Shared hands open in a read-only view marked as "Shared Hand." You can view the full hand details, replay the action, and save the hand to your own collection.

Import & Export

Move data in and out of 1Poker via the Settings screen.

Export Formats

Exported data is shared via the system share sheet, so you can send it to Files, email, AirDrop, or any other destination.

Importing Data

Import sessions from a Poker Bankroll Tracker (PBT) CSV file:

  1. Tap Import from PBT CSV in Settings
  2. Select your CSV file
  3. Review the detected sessions in the import preview, which shows the date, venue, stakes, and result for each session
  4. Tap Import All to add them to your database

Keep your data in sync across all your Apple devices.

Enabling Sync

iCloud sync is off by default for privacy. To enable it:

  1. Go to Settings in the More tab
  2. Toggle iCloud Sync on
  3. Restart the app for the change to take effect

You must be signed into iCloud on your device. The settings screen shows your current sync status and when data was last synced.
