User Guide
Everything you need to know to get the most out of 1Poker.
Getting Started
When you first open 1Poker, a short onboarding walkthrough introduces the core features. You can optionally load sample data to explore the app before entering your own sessions.
The app is organized into five tabs:
- Bankroll — your financial dashboard with deposits, withdrawals, and profit overview
- Sessions — view, filter, and manage all poker sessions
- Hands — browse and search every hand you've recorded
- Stats — charts and breakdowns of your results
- More — equity tools, pot odds, ICM calculator, player database, and settings
Bankroll Dashboard
The bankroll dashboard is your home screen. It shows a real-time snapshot of your poker finances.
What you'll see
- Current Bankroll — your total bankroll, color-coded green or red
- Today's Profit — net result for the current day
- Weekly Profit — net result for the current week
- Active Session Banner — if you have a session in progress, a banner appears with quick access to return to it
Deposits & Withdrawals
Tap Deposit or Withdraw to record bankroll changes that aren't tied to a session. Each entry can include an optional note. Session results are recorded automatically when you end a session.
Recent Sessions
A list of your most recent sessions appears below the dashboard, showing the date, game type, stakes, and result for each.
Session Tracking
1Poker supports three session types: Cash Game, Tournament, and Sit & Go.
Starting a Session
Tap the + button on the Sessions or Bankroll tab. Fill in:
- Game Type — Cash Game, Tournament, or Sit & Go
- Game Variant — Hold'em, PLO, PLO8, Big O, Limit Omaha, Limit Omaha8, Mixed, or Other
- Stakes — select from common blind levels (1/2, 1/3, 2/5, 5/10, etc.)
- Buy-in — the amount you're buying in for
- Location — type a venue name, or let the app auto-detect it based on your GPS location. If you've played at a venue before, 1Poker will recognize it when you're nearby
Tournament Fields
When you select Tournament or Sit & Go, additional fields appear:
- Field Size — total number of entrants
- Finish Position — where you placed
- Add-ons — record additional chip purchases
- Rebuys — track multiple buy-ins
The app automatically calculates your ROI and whether you finished in the money.
Session List
The Sessions tab shows all your sessions with filtering and search:
- Filter by game type, stakes, or location
- Search by venue name
- Sort by date, profit, or hourly rate
- Quick filter chips for Cash, Tournament, or Winning/Losing sessions
On iPad, sessions display in a split view with the session list on the left and details on the right.
Location Auto-Detection
1Poker can use your current location to automatically suggest a venue when starting a session. The first time you play somewhere, type the venue name. On future visits, the app recognizes you're at the same location and fills it in for you.
Live Session
Once a session is started, you enter the active session view with real-time tracking.
Live Metrics
- Timer — running clock showing hours, minutes, and seconds
- Current Stack — your chip count, updated as you play
- Profit — calculated as current stack minus total invested

This configuration carries into hand recording, so player names and positions are pre-filled automatically.
Ending a Session
Tap End Session and enter your final cash-out amount. For tournaments, you'll also enter your finish position and field size. The session result is automatically recorded in your bankroll.
